, the acclaimed innovative ale brewery based in the East Midlands, has re-structured and expanded its head office team which now stands at twenty-seven people. The changes have been made in the wake of several high profile awards for its distinctively hoppy ales and the continued growth in volume of its cask and bottled beer ranges both nationally and internationally.

Free Trade Sales both within the Brewery’s heartland in the East Midlands and Anglia regions as well as nationally. Nigel Wattam will be responsible for the Sales Support operation, in addition to the development of the Oakham Ales brand throughout the UK. Emma WalkerM
, as well as her Personnel and Finance responsibilities, will also project manage the implementation of a new fully integrated IT system.
The Brewery now has over 225 pubs signed up to its ‘Oakademy of Excellence
’ and its popularity is growing each year. Established in late 2009, Oakademy member outlets serve Oakham Ales
on a permanent basis and membership benefits include access to ‘limited edition’ ales, available only to ‘Oakademy of Excellence
Oakham’s bottled ale business has grown hugely in 2012 with its core brands JHB
and Bishops Farewell
available throughout the brewery’s heartland. Citra has recently expanded its distribution and can now be found in around one hundred and forty Waitrose Stores in the South East.
Cambridgeshire Golden Ale, which the brewery produces for M&S, is now available through virtually every M&S food hall that has a licence to sell alcohol - approximately five hundred stores nationally. The Brewery has also recently started exporting its bottled beer range with orders from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Slovenia and Southern Ireland - in fact the Brewery has recently doubled its warehouse space to 20,000 square feet to accommodate its growing bottled beer business.
